Description of the problem	Having issue with the truck 'lurching and jerking" with rpms fluctuationing between 500 and 1000. This happens primarily in reverse with your foot on the brake with steady prussure. I had an uncomfortable incident with a woman in the supermarket parking lot. She saw that i had stopped to let her pass behind me when the truck took a short hop backwards. She was not happy. She took my plate # and said that she was going to file a complaint with the local pd . I have taken the truck to the local dealer and the old standard answer, " its normal". The tech that evaluated my truck verified that it was in fact lurching.. I think its a safety issue and have opened a claim with toyota care. This is not a new issue as there are several written concerns in the tacoma forums and on social media. I would hate to see someone get injured. I am not an automotive technician but i believe this possibly may be a software issue between the throttle control and onboard computer
