Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2018 volkswagen atlas. The contact stated that while his wife was driving at 45 mph, she had hit a storm drain on the side of the road which caused all side curtain and passenger air bags to deploy. The vehicle shut off as the air bags deployed. The police were called and a police report (#20s000488) was filed. No medical attention was given at the scene; the driver suffered minor scratches and bruises cause by the seat belt. There was no damage to the vehicle; however, the vehicle was towed to mike steven volkswagen (11211 e kellogg dr n, wichita, ks 67207) for an investigation. The manufacturer was notified and pulled the computer data from the vehicle. Data showed that a air bag sensor was activated which deemed the contact responsible for the air bag deployment.
