Description of the problem | I rented a vehicle through hertz to drive for lyft. I discovered the car horn didn't work when someone cut me off and i had to swerve to avoid them. This caused me to hit a curb and ultimately lose a hubcap. Hertz wants to charge me for hubcap... When i informed hertz about the issue i was told that they only inspect the body of the vehicle, not whether it functions. When pressed, they insisted that it was lyft's responsibility to check that the car is working and safe. Lyft claims it is the responsibility of hertz to inspect vehicles are working properly. |
