Description of the problem | Takata recall. As reported by takata, in the event of an inflator rupture, metal fragments could pass through the airbag cushion material, which may result in serious injury or death to vehicle occupants. There hasn't been any remedy or repair to this and there hasn't been any compensation or replacement of the vehicle which is only fair to ask. I am worried that something might happen and it would be too late to do anything about it. As a company manufacturing it, vw should provide us the sense of safety and protection. Also i live in ca, which is state that falls in zone a states with high temperature cycling and humidity and falls into a more risky group. So i need to feel secure in some way and vw is responsible for it. |
