Description of the problem | Airbag light came on and the steering controls are not working. Dealer diagnosed as clock spring as bad and won't cover because out of warranty. There is a recall for vw passat 2010 to 2014 for clock spring related problems and airbag, but vw claims that my vin is not part of the recall. This is not right... They have a recall for my exact problem and don't want to take ownership. Really looking for some guidance from nhtsa. |
